Increase sales and maximize profits by welcoming and warmly greeting guests on arrival. Manage the efficient and timely seating of our guests to a table that best serves their wishes.
Duties & Responsibilities:

Warmly and graciously greet all guests upon arrival.

When possible, open the front door for guests entering or leaving the restaurant.

OpenTable Seating Software management
-
Call out name and number of party when tables become available.
-
Provide guests with estimated waiting time.
-
Accommodate special seating requests for guests whenever possible.
-
Handle all phone calls pleasantly and direct appropriately.

Seat guests based on guest preferences and balancing of customer flow in service stations.

Upon seating, offer guests a menu and inform them of their server’s name. Inspect table for proper presentation and completeness.

Relay messages to servers and server assistance as needed.

Follow dress code per Gas Monkey Bar N Grill specifications.
-
Check out with a manager or supervisor before leaving.

Complete assigned opening and closing duties.
-
Thank guests as they leave and invite them to return.
Requirements
-
Must be at least 17 years of age
-
High School diploma or GED
-
Minimum of 6 months of customer service, retail sales, or food service experience preferred
-
Demonstrated ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic and outgoing manner
-
Ability to bend, twist, and stand to perform normal job functions
-
Ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence and policy documents, as well as converse comfortably with customers in English
-
Be able to working in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours).

Must have exceptional grooming habits.

Must possess a current Food Handler Card
